Cookies
Last updated 30 October 2026
Cookies are small files saved in your browser. We use the ones needed to run the site and the booking, and – only if you say yes – cookies for statistics, marketing and the chat.
1. The cookies we use
| Category | What and who | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary always on | nordicalps.com: na_consent (your cookie choice), na_book (the stay you are booking, kept only in this browser tab); our booking engine and Stripe during booking and payment | Remember your choice, carry your booking from one page to the next, secure payment and prevent fraud | Choice: 12 months. Booking: until the tab is closed |
| Statistics | Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager (_ga, _ga_*) | Count visits and see which pages and searches work, so we can improve the site | Up to 14 months |
| Marketing | Meta Pixel (_fbp), Google Ads | Measure whether our ads lead to bookings, and show our ads to people who have visited the site | Up to 3 months (Meta), 90 days (Google) |
| Chat | tawk.to (TawkConnectionTime, twk_*, __tawkuuid) | The chat window, so you can talk to us and the conversation continues between pages | Up to 6 months |
Without consent, statistics, marketing and chat cookies are not set. Google tags then run in a restricted mode that does not store cookies. The chat window is only shown if you accept chat cookies – you can always reach us at info@nordicalps.com or through the contact form.
2. Your choice
When you first visit, you choose Accept all, Only necessary, or choose by category. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the button at the top of this page or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
3. Maps and embedded content
Maps on our pages load map tiles from OpenStreetMap-based services (OpenTopoMap, OpenSnowMap). These services receive your IP address to deliver the map images but do not set cookies from our pages.
4. More information
How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy. Questions: info@nordicalps.com.
