Why Hafjell

Where the whole family skis the same mountain.

Hafjell's pistes run long and wide from the top station down to Hunderfossen, with green and blue options nearly the whole way. Confident skiers get the Olympic GS and the park; everyone else gets kilometres of easy vertical without ever feeling lost.

Long, easy vertical

830 metres top to bottom on blues and greens – the run that makes a beginner feel like a skier.

Lillehammer next door

Olympic town, cafés, the toboggan run at Lysgårdsbakkene and Maihaugen for the non-ski day.

Cabins by the hundred

Hafjell is cabin country: log cabins with sauna and ski-in trails, from four beds to sixteen.

Where to stay

Hafjell Resort apartments, Hunderfossen hotels, cabins on the hill.

Pick ski-in at the base, quiet cabins above the tree line, or a hotel down by the river with the family park next door.

Ski-in apartments

Hafjell Resort and the base area: lift outside, ski school across the road, restaurants a minute away.

Getting there
